There is no clear information on how old the Çorum breed pigeons are. However, there is no d
oubt that this race originated from our leading city of Çorum since the Hittites. According to the information obtained from the old breeders of Çorum race, it is known that this breed was also raised in Çorum during the Ottoman state.

These pigeons, which are known for their quick adaptation to their nests, are tended not to forget the home where they were raised. Therefore, it is known that there are birds returning to their first house even after 4-5 years. This feature is more prominent especially in robust vascular birds. Therefore, it is a bit of a problem to train the birds in Çorum. It is a race resistant to diseases. The juvenile productivity is very good. They are a good baby sitter. It is an economic feature of other races that they consume less feed.

PHYSICAL FEATURES
The most prominent physical features of Çorum naked people are that they do not have legs in their feet. There should be no feathers below the elbow at the feet of these pigeons. Pigeons with hairy down the elbow suffer depreciation. These kinds of birds emerge as a result of the breaks caused by rattles and especially Mardin type tumblers. The second feature that attracts attention, except for those with white color in Çorum, is that the wings are white and the tail is in the bird's own color. The whiteness in the wing wires will change in 7 to 10 wires from the beginning. It is preferable that an equal number of wires are white on both sides. The lower abdomen is cut white.

Çorum nudist feet are a little thin. Nude parts of the feet are red. They are medium-sized birds. They have a slightly more petite structure than tumbler pigeons. Their heads are round. COLOR VARIETIES
Contrary to what is known, Çorum nudes do not have much color variety. The color types seen in Çorum naked are 4. These are moccasin, galaxy, black and freckle. Except for these kinds of things, there is no color type. There is a similar tendency for all the trotting pigeons seen in our provinces other than Çorum and especially in Ankara to be described as Çorum naked. This is not true.
